Stay ahead of the curve.
The National Restaurant Association's recently released 2021 State of the Restaurant Industry report shows that 62% of fine dining and 56% of casual dining operators have dedicated more resources to developing and expanding outdoor dining since the start of the pandemic.
70% of consumers report they would likely take a table outside in a temperature-controlled, ventilated structure if social-distancing guidelines are followed. 85% of consumers planning to dine on-premise in the coming months said they would be willing to take such a table.
New York's outdoor dining model, which closed off traffic to allow dining in the street, saved nearly 100,000 jobs, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio.
